Meet and Greet Policy

Meet and Greets are mandatory – as they provide me the opportunity to meet your pet(s), meet you, review your care instructions, and verify the ability to access your home while you’re gone. The initial meet and greet is free of charge. Additional meet and greets are billed at our regular 30 minute visit rate.

Payment Policy

We accept cash, check or Venmo payments. Payment for visits are due in advance (on the day you leave for travelling clients or the beginning of the week for dog walk clients.

Gratuities are always appreciated, but never expected.

Cancellation Policy

Life is unpredictable. I am happy to offer a very flexible cancellation policy for clients. Clients can cancel reservations at any time and for any reason with no charge, except the following circumstances:

Non-holiday visits cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled time are subject to 50% cancellation fee. Holiday visits cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled time are subject to 100% cancellation fee. Holiday visits cancelled less than 48 hours before scheduled time are subject to 50% cancellation fee.

Emergency Care

In the event of pet illness or other medical emergency and specified vet is unavailable, pet will be taken to closest vet or emergency clinic. Client understands and agrees that attempts will be made to contact the Client in case of emergency and if Client is unreachable, Pet Sitter has permission to authorize any care the vet deems necessary for pet’s health, safety and survival. Client agrees to reimburse All Creatures Great and Small for any additional fees and all costs relating to vet care during their absence, which may include x-rays, blood work, surgery and/or other expensive procedures, as well as an emergency medical transport fee of $35.00. For the safety of your pet and others, pets must have current vaccinations. Should pet sitter be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client’s animal which has not been properly vaccinated, it will be the Client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
